Acceptance

By creating a RentDesk account you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

What RentDesk is

RentDesk is a property management tool for independent landlords. It helps you track rent, expenses, and taxes. It is not a financial advisor, accountant, or legal service. Nothing in the app constitutes financial or legal advice.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be 18 or older to use RentDesk. You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

Subscription and billing

RentDesk is a paid subscription service billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds except within the first 30 days under our money-back guarantee.

Bank connection

By connecting your bank account you authorize RentDesk to retrieve read-only transaction data via Plaid. You can revoke this access at any time. RentDesk cannot initiate transactions or move money on your behalf.

Data and privacy

Your data belongs to you. We store it securely and do not sell it. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Limitation of liability

RentDesk is provided as-is. We are not liable for any financial decisions you make based on information in the app. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time by emailing hello@rentdesk.net.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
