RentDesk is a property management platform for independent landlords, operated by RentDesk (rentdesk.net).
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and property and tenant details you enter into the app. When you connect your bank account via Plaid, we receive read-only transaction data. We never see or store your banking credentials.
We use your data solely to provide the RentDesk service — tracking rent payments, logging expenses, and generating tax summaries. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except the services that power the app: Supabase (database), Plaid (bank connection), and Stripe (billing).
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS encryption in transit. Row-level security ensures only you can access your data.
Bank connectivity is provided by Plaid. RentDesk receives read-only access to your transaction history. We never access your login credentials and cannot move money. You can disconnect your bank at any time from the app.
You can export or delete your data at any time by emailing hello@rentdesk.net. We will process all requests within 30 days.
We use session cookies only to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
We will notify you by email if we make material changes to this policy.
